CNN Reads Out Disturbing Threats Kavanaugh’s Wife Has Received

One other witness the Democrats want to hear from is Kavanaugh's high school friend Mark Judge, who Ford said was in the room when she was assaulted.

The attorney for Christine Blasey Ford, a 51-year-old research psychologist and professor who accused Judge Brett Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her in the 1980s, claimed that the Senate Judiciary Committee's hearing scheduled for Monday felt rushed and called for additional witnesses to testify.

Attorney Lisa Banks argued that her client, a mother of two teenagers, was "thrust into the public spotlight" after going public with her allegation against Kavanaugh, President Donald Trump's nominee for the Supreme Court. Kavanaugh has been through six similar background checks already in his career. If that were the case, then school wouldn't have been in session, so it seems highly unlikely that students had been talking about it in school immediately after the alleged attack happened.

Hillary Clinton says the White House should request an FBI investigation of the sexual-assault accusation facing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and any refusal to do so by Republicans amounts to rushing to confirm him. "We'll have to make a decision", he told reporters. "I did not know her personally but I remember her". "I can only say this: he is such an outstanding man; very hard for me to imagine that anything happened", the president said.

When asked if her party believed her, Monahan said, "No".

And if they are taking that tack because the Democrats want to delay the confirmation process in the hopes of jettisoning Kavanaugh and energizing female voters, that's likely to backfire.

Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, wrote Ford's attorneys Wednesday that the panel was giving the California psychology professor until 10 a.m. Friday to submit a biography and a prepared statement "if she intends to testify" Monday.

"No other outside investigation is necessary", he said on Twitter.

President Trump Suggested Spain Build Its Own Border Wall Across the Sahara
Since the start of 2018, more than 38,000 migrants have arrived in Spain, mostly by sea. Borrell did not specify when or where Trump made the suggestion.

"Hi all, deleted this because it served its objective and I am now dealing with a slew of requests for interviews from The Wash Post, CNN, CBS News", she tweeted.

"Right off the bat, what I have said is there should be an investigation", Nelson said.

"If she shows up and makes a credible showing that'll be very interesting". Christine Blasey Ford, who accused Judge Brett Kavanaugh, has earlier refused to testify unless the Federal Bureau of Investigation begins an inquiry.

"We have reached out to her in the last 36 hours three or four times by email, and we've not heard from them, so it kind of raises the question do they want to, do they want to come to the public hearing or not?" he told political blog

Kaitlan Collins said on The Lead today that his wife in particular has received some disturbing death threats featuring "graphic messages, some we can't even air".

"It is imperative the Judiciary Committee move forward on the Kavanaugh nomination and a committee vote be taken as soon as possible".

Twelve of Ford's family members wrote an open letter, posted on Twitter on Wednesday by her niece, actress and singer Bridgit Mendler, referring to Ford as "highly ethical" and saying "her honesty is above reproach".

Banks reiterated that Ford has had to leave her home because of threats to her family's safety and said, "Fairness and respect for her situation dictate that she should have time to deal with this".
