The Uruguayan global was heavily involved against Vorskla as he dictated play from the deep-lying midfield role and helped Arsenal ease in to a commanding 3-0 lead thanks to a Danny Welbeck header and a sublime double from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

But the visiting side from Ukraine pulled two late goals back to leave Emery's team without a single clean sheet this season. "We are conceding a few chances to our opposition, the same as at Newcastle".

"Our disappointment today is the two goals conceded", the Arsenal manager told reporters.

Each match we play, I am responsible for the group and for Torreira also, today I think it is better [for Lucas] to leave the match. I want to continue to be competitive in each match.

Bernd Leno of Arsenal sits on the bench before the Premier League match between Cardiff City and Arsenal FC at Cardiff City Stadium on September 2, 2018 in Cardiff, United Kingdom.

Three people killed in Maryland shooting, law official confirms
CNN reported Thursday morning that at least three individuals were killed and two others were wounded in the shooting . She said her mother sent her a text message saying there was a shooter in the building and that she was hiding.

Emery said he is hopeful Torreira will be fit to face Everton in the Premier League on Sunday, and said the midfielder is improving with every game. He didn't say the Premier League is Petr's competition and the Europa League is mine.

But Leno has always been used to such a style of play and proved that on Thursday, with the German confident his characteristics will suit Emery in the long run. We are giving chances to many players to find the pieces and for the confidence.

Leno - who has six Germany caps - revealed Emery has not come to a specific arrangement with his goalkeepers over who will play in which matches, and added that he has a good working relationship with Cech. "It's clear, we want them to score".

"I think it could change, not every week, but he will change a lot".
