'Pokemon' Developer Reveals New RPG for Nintendo Switch

Here's the official description of the game, straight from Nintendo: "Game Freak, the developer of the Pokemon series, has created a new RPG for Nintendo Switch".

This village has known "lasting peace" until monsters suddenly appeared.

Video game stories from other sites on the web. The entire game is said to be set within this one town, with what looks to be a turn-based battle system. At times, you will need to utilize the terrain, buildings, and the help of fellow villagers in order to defeat the invaders. There is a trailer for the game which you can see below, but other than that, we'll have to wait until Nintendo or GameFreak have more info.

Besides TOWN and countless Pokémon titles, Game Freak has also developed such games as Tembo the Badass Elephant, Pocket Card Jockey, HarmoKnight, and Drill Dozer.

But quite disappointingly, a leak suggests that the rumored Razer Phone 2 will look a lot like the phone it is succeeding.

Game Freak has will release their newly announced RPG in 2019 for Nintendo Switch.

We're hoping Town lives up to Game Freak's pedigree, and are looking forward to learning more about the game in the future.

Although Town is still a working title, this unique RPG will release on Nintendo Switch in 2019.

Game Freak has based Town on creatures that are antagonistic in nature, therefore, serving as a threat to you as a player and your village.
