Hurricane Helene ‘THREAT TO LIFE’ warning - United Kingdom to be hit on MONDAY

The storm is about 775 miles east of the Lesser Antilles. It was located about 345 miles east of Guadaloupe.

Tropical Storm Isaac, which passed between the Caribbean island nations of Dominica and Martinique late Wednesday and early Thursday, is now moving nearly due west across the eastern Caribbean Sea. "Some wind, no rain and rising sun".

Flaherty said there is a small piece of good news, in that the "flow" in the southeastern quadrant of the storm has been reduced slightly.

The NHC at 11 a.m. on September 12 has issued warnings for Tropical Storm Isaac, which is still moving west about 420 miles east of the island of Martinique.

Met Éireann said: "Current indications are that (ex-) tropical storm Helene will approach Ireland's south coast during Tuesday".

With the ground already saturated from recent rain, another drenching from Florence combined with winds could easily lead to trees being uprooted and widespread power outages, he said.
