Early September in Cupertino, Calif., usually means one big thing - Apple's next iPhone is about to be unveiled.

The XML file further revealed the colour options for Apple iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max cases.

Reporting by Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, 9to5Mac and others throughout the past year suggests Apple will release an updated version of its latest iPhone X model, to be known as the iPhone Xs.

Apple also showed off a cheaper iPhone, called the iPhone XR.

Kuo also reiterates that the next iPad Pros, set to be made available in 11in and 12.9in models, will also be the first to feature Face ID, with Apple likely to ditch the physical home button in favour of its mug-scanning tech.

One new iPhone was likely to be priced slightly lower than the X model to "capture the next wave of buyers" in markets such as China, western Europe and the U.S., according to Moorhead.

Apple's new iPhone range could take the game to Samsung's Galaxy Note 9, which was launched last month and is considered to be the best Android phone ever.

How to Watch Apple's iPhone Event
Still given that rupee is very weak against dollar right now, expect the price of above Rs 1 lakh for the iPhone XS Plus. Google is also expected to announce a new version of its Pixel smartphone when it holds its own event in October.

Moreover, this leak confirms the names and put other speculations like iPhone XS Plus and iPhone XC out of contention. The phone sports a 6.1-inch edge-to-edge LCD display (which Apple dubs "Liquid Retina") that sports a notched design and provides more overall screen space than the iPhone 8 Plus.

With a 5.8-inch screen, it will be an advanced version of the iPhone X, which was launched in September, 2017. "ORCRP001070-topic.html" class="local_link" >Apple is expected to showcase three new iPhones on Wednesday, including its biggest and most expensive model yet, as the company seeks to widen the product's appeal amid slowing sales growth.

The iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max are expected to be released in September.

Joining the XS and XS Max will be the iPhone XR, a lower-cost model that comes in a variety of fun colors including blue, coral, yellow and red.

Apple says that the iPhone XS will offer 30 minutes more battery life than the iPhone X, while the XS Max will serve up to 90 more minutes of juice than last year's model.

The new tablets will feature slimmer bezels and an 11-inch or 12.9-inch display.

The new wearable has been predicted by many to be called the Apple Watch Series 4, and if current rumours are anything to go by, it's going to be the biggest update we've seen to the product line for a while.
