Ariana Grande posts tribute picture to ex Miller, disables comments after hate

Mac Miller's mom, Karen Meyers, shared a loving photo of herself with her son one day after he died.

Though Grande shared the photo on Instagram, she still has comments disabled. reportedly due to the fact she was being harassed my commenters blaming her for Mac's death. Unfortunately, many news sources used his recent break up with vocalist Ariana Grande as a talking point in the artist's death.

Fighting through the amount of backlash from social media and news outlets alike, Grande has broken her silence since her friend has passed.

The Self Care rapper, real name Malcolm James McCormick, was found unresponsive at his San Fernando Valley, Calif., home, and was pronounced dead at the scene by authorities.

Mac died at young age of 26.

'Despite their split, Ariana had always been supportive of his sobriety, ' a second source added.

Scooter Braun, Grande's manager, also posted a tribute to Miller on Instagram a few hours before Grande's post. "Mac had a lot of demons that he was battling and he struggled with addiction issues throughout his whole life pretty much so to try and lay the blame at Ariana's feet is truly appalling-she's just heartbroken".

An LA coroner said the cause of Miller's death is yet to be determined and that a post-mortem examination will be carried out.

When he spoke with Rolling Stone earlier in the year, Mac said that he would never call himself a drug addict.

The couple had dated for two years until parting ways in May, shortly before Miller was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) and hit and run in Los Angeles.

In a statement, his family said Miller was a "bright light in this world for his family, friends and fans".

Ariana hasn't yet spoken out about the rapper's sudden death, but insiders told ET that the singer is "heartbroken" and "devastated".
