Andrew Gillum's Stunning Victory Sets Up an Epic Governor's Race in Florida

Jeff Flake (R., Ariz.), one of his most outspoken critics in the party who did not run for re-election and has fretted about the direction of Republicans under Trump. Sometimes Democrats have, too.

Obama called for establishing a "voting rights division" within the Department of Justice (DOJ) to combat "voter fraud" and what he said were efforts to "discourage people to vote".

During the Fox News appearance, DeSantis called Gillum "an articulate spokesman for those far-left views" and a "charismatic candidate" who is "much too liberal for Florida", however. We're proving, that if progressives come together, we can win.

And Florida, in particular, will have a wide slate of Democratic women candidates on the ballot this fall, with 16 of 27 congressional races featuring a woman as the Democratic nominee.

"During the interview, he made what some are calling an inappropriate comment about his Democratic opponent, Andrew Gillum", host Sandra Smith said after DeSantis had left the show. Graham had a built-in fundraising network as a former congresswoman and the daughter of a popular Florida governor and senator, while two other top candidates were self-funded.

Trump posted on Twitter a full-throttled endorsement for her candidacy on Wednesday morning and claimed sweeping wins for his "Make America Great Again" agenda. "Meanwhile, Ron DeSantis and Donald Trump are doing everything possible to impede the FBI from investigating his obstruction of justice". Gillum has said he is confident the investigation has nothing to do with him.

Andrew Gillum's supporters and campaign team spent the final weeks of the primary campaign telling anyone who would listen that their candidate was surging, and would end up as the Democratic nominee for Florida governor. Republicans plan to use an FBI investigation of Tallahassee's municipal government against Gillum, though he's not directly been named a subject.

Experts say a swarm of bees this size is a rarity in the city, but not entirely unheard of. The NYPD said "no tourist was harmed and no bee was left behind" in a tweet .

In less than 24 hours, the bigotry has already begun to jump out after Florida Democratic gubernatorial nominee Andrew Gillum secured the party nomination.

On the Republican side, DeSantis, a USA congressman from the Jacksonville area, stomped Adam Putnam, a former congressman and current Commissioner of Agriculture in Florida, with more than 56 percent of the vote.

"I think Gillum's about to get schooled about right-wing Republican campaigns", Stipanovich said. Statewide, blacks are 28 percent of the state's registered voters.

Marquez Peterson beat Brandon Martin, Danny Morales and Casey Welch in Tuesday's primary for Arizona's 2nd Congressional District.

In toppling the Putnam political machine, DeSantis continues a string of victories by outsider anti-establishment GOP candidates that dates back to Gov. Rick Scott's primary win in 2010 and continued in 2016 with Trump's victory over U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson. After an easy win in Tuesday's GOP primary, Scott now joins a bitter - and expensive - showdown with Nelson that could play a decisive role in determining whether Republicans maintain control of the Senate. Democrats hope to flip the seat in their bid to take control of the House of Representatives.

Republican McSally is running for retiring Sen.

Gillum didn't make race an issue during the primary. "That's the job of the governor of this state".
