Liverpool boss Klopp unsure if Klavan will leave today

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says that if Ragnar Klavan joins Cagliari it is because he consented to the move for the experienced central defender.

Liverpool have sold Ragnar Klavan to Italian side Cagliari for a fee of around £2m. Matip is close to be back, hopefully in the squad for Monday.

With Matip and Dejan Lovren out injured, Gomez partnered Virgil van Dijk in the heart of the defence for Liverpool's 4-0 win over West Ham United in last week's Premier League opener. He's fit which is very good.

"They have a very good understanding on a personal level as well-that's really cool".

21-year-old Gomez now finds himself in the same position, with the Reds other centre back choices injured or unavailable. [He will] hopefully be able to be in the squad on Monday.

Not for Jurgen Klopp though with Nat Phillips taking his chance to impress on the recent tour to the States.

Solanke moved to Liverpool from Chelsea in the summer of 2017, but he has failed to establish himself at Anfield, scoring just one goal for the club.

'Monster Hunter' game no longer available in China
The company says it will strictly abide by the law and offer a refund to users who have already purchased the game. The Steam-like platform Tencent's WeGame has said that it's been removed and now not available for purchasing.

"(Klopp) will be wanting to explain not winning the final, but it's not the first that he has lost.

"I said before, in general, that it's possible players could leave the club and that will happen if it's good for everyone", Klopp told reporters on Friday. We have a big friendship even though you could not see it today.

"That won't happen, we're not in a financial need where we need to do that". So I respect him, but we both know on the pitch we must fight for our team.

"That's the problem of the transfer window. There is no number in my mind at the moment".

As Virgil van Dijk settles into the role as first-choice centre-half at Anfield, with only Joe Gomez the only other recognised fit defender now at Liverpool's disposal, the news that World Cup finalist Dejan Lovren is set for another month out with a stomach issue has sent a shudder down many a Liverpudlian spine with the possibility of Matip making a return to the first XI.

"Yes the start was good, but that's already done, pretty much", Klopp added.

'Atletico have always had an ambitious project, we can get anywhere with work, humility. We have to do that again, again and again. "We are not the best team in the world, so there's a lot of space for us to improve in all departments".
