Striker Batshuayi, 24, has joined Spanish side Valencia, while French defender Zouma, 23, has moved to Chelsea's Premier League rivals Everton.

Everton are looking to sign Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma on loan, according to the Mirror. After two years of gradual progress within the first-team setup at Stamford Bridge, the player saw his development come to a grinding halt when he sustained a major knee injury.

Zouma spent last season on loan with Stoke too but had to deal with relegation at the end of the season. And, Manchester United and Everton are interested.

The United boss is hoping to sign at least one more top class player today with a centre-back the priority and the Manchester giants have reportedly failed to agree terms for the likes of Harry Maguire, Toby Alderweireld, Jerome Boateng and Yerry Mina in recent weeks.

At Least Four Killed in Canada Shooting
The Winnipeg native, who lives immediately off Brookside, said residents have been advised to stay inside with their doors locked. Police in the eastern Canadian city of Fredericton, New Brunswick say at least four people have been killed after a shooting.

Mourinho was the Chelsea manager when Zouma arrived in 2014, and he seemingly has a lot of belief in the Frenchman, although it's hard to see how he will boost his options in the short-term.

The Toffees were extremely active on deadline day and addressed their centre back issues by signing Barcelona's Yerry Mina but are still keen to add depth to their squad in the form of Zouma.

The deal sheet for the loan agreement was submitted to the Premier League before the 5 p.m. deadline on Thursday, giving Everton and Chelsea extra time to finalise the details.
