Vidal aims for three Champions League titles in three years at Barcelona

Arturo Vidal finalises his move from Bayern Munich to Barcelona and says that he has always dreamt of representing the Catalan giants.

Arturo Vidal is over the moon to have joined FC Barcelona this summer. I hope to help the team win titles.

"To be honest, I am very happy", he told his new side's official website.

Barcelona last won the Champions League in 2015, beating Juventus in the final.

The Chilean global joined Bayern Munich in 2015 from Juventus, and won the Bundesliga title in each of his three seasons at the club.

"He can bring energy to the midfield, he is someone who has a lot of fighting spirit and can increase the tempo".

Bayern was eliminated by Madrid in the Champions League quarterfinals in 2017 and in the semifinals in 2018. "I really enjoyed my time in Munich".

"I've still got one thing that I have to achieve in my career and that is to win the Champions League, and I hope to do so with the best team in the world", Vidal said. With the confidence that the people have given me, I want to win it all.

"He is a player with character, who gives balance on the pitch as well as providing goals and chances", said Abidal, who spent six years as a Barca player, winning four Primera Liga titles and two Champions Leagues.
