Blizzard Has ‘Multiple Diablo Projects’ in the Works

Camel re-iterates that "Diablo is and always will be part of Blizzard's identity".

We've been reporting on Diablo 4 possibilities for years, with job postings giving us a hint about what to expect from the next Diablo game. Although no game-specific details were shared, Blizzard advises that we "may" see more later this year. If you're feeling incredibly optimistic you may mean a Diablo 4 announcement at BlizzCon. Trust me when I say the team here is now crossing all crossable appendages regarding that potential tidbit of news. For those of you still rocking your heroes in Reaper of Souls, you might have noticed we did something a little bit different for Season 14: Themed Seasons.

Today, Blizzard put out a new video on Twitter which reveals more about the future of the Diablo franchise.

Blizzard Entertainment is working on multiple Diablo projects, the developer and publisher revealed on Wednesday.

It's unclear what the multiple Diablo projects could be, but the one that's going to take longer to develop might be Diablo IV. "Some of them are going to take longer than others, but we may have some things to show you later this year", Nevalistis said.

We certainly hope that one of the unannounced projects is a remaster/remake of Diablo 2.
