Launched in 2014 assistant Alexa Amazon has over 45,000 skills through a set of functions to Alexa Skills Kit (ASK), and the developers are constantly expanding the list, developing abilities and skills Alexa. Fewer still place an order via Alexa and then decide they have the stomach to do it again.

According to a study conducted by AdWeek, the Google Home is six times more likely to answer a question than Alexa.

Even more concerning for Amazon, the vast majority of people (90 percent) who bought something using their voice only tried it once.

These figures are far lower than other third-party estimates, the Information wrote, such as one from the research firm in June that concluded 16 percent of smart speaker owners use them to shop at least once a month.

Chelsea complete loan signing of Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic
Courtois said at his official unveiling: "Arriving at the best club in the world is a responsibility and an honour". The goalkeeper has moved for a fee in the region of £31m and has signed a six-year contract.

"We're excited for SEAT to incorporate Alexa into its vehicles", says Ned Curic, who is in charge of Amazon Alexa's automotive division.

When the buyer's money is on a stake, the inability of the smart assistants to allow the users quickly browse through the mechanics of switching between payment options shipping and order or to let the users see the product in question doesn't sound great at all. The skill will not be triggered "after listening to a news item or other information about a news item".

Despite the sale of 50 million Alexa-abled devices, merely 2% of the buyers have made purchases with their own voices in 2018.

In a statement to PCMag, Amazon said it will be rolling out this feature to "all Alexa customers over the coming week". "The trend in voice-activated services is growing and for this reason we want to make it available to our customers". (Thus, the inclination towards home products, for example, phone charger, a new T.V., or a kitchen knife) is more, as the exact selection of the item doesn't matter much. But this issue is one of the main drawbacks of the device, making you feel like it's not as smart and useful as Amazon claims it is.
