Rather than see his mural commemorating the Los Angeles Lakers' acquisition of LeBron James defaced for a third time, artist Jonas Never whitewashed the wall in hopes of putting an unexpectedly controversial issue to rest.

He signed a four-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers this week.

'I thought I had learned a long time ago to never touch religion or politics, ' said Never. Per another report from Variety, James is already a member of the Producer's Guild of America thanks to his selling of the spec script "Hustle" to Legendary Entertainment and his production of a "House Party" reboot with New Line.

On Wednesday, an L.A. news anchor shared a surveillance video of the mural being vandalized once again by one of James' fellow Angelenos.

"I guess it is never touch religion, politics or anyone against Kobe", Never cracked.

Stormy Daniels Arrested; Lawyer Claims 'Set-Up'
The law, The Community Defense Act, prohibits adult entertainment - defined as nude or topless dancing - between midnight and 6am. Earlier this week, Daniels performed in Washington minutes before President Donald Trump announced his Supreme Court nomination.

The Cavaliers beat the Celtics, Bulls and Hawks to advance to the NBA Finals and Kyrie would play in Game 1 against the Warriors, but went down to the ground in overtime and not return for the series after he fractured his left kneecap.

Located outside of a Baby Blues BBQ in Venice, Calif., the mural took roughly 12 hours of work spanning two days, a bucket of paint and more than 75 spray cans, ESPN reported.

"I got a ton of support", Never said. "And he said, 'Yes, it came up.' And I said, 'Well, I just want to let you know it's going to come up tomorrow too'". "The first vandalism was made easier to swallow because, by all accounts from the Twitter debate [over it] that we saw, it looked like a guy offered up a $300 bounty to anyone who destroyed the mural".

In addition to James, the Lakers bolstered their roster with the signings of JaVale McGee and Lance Stephenson, to go along with re-signing Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.
