A nine-year-old English bulldog has died just weeks after winning the title of World's Ugliest Dog.

Zsa Zsa' winnings included $1,500, "a very large trophy" and a flight to NY, where she and Brainard appeared on the "Today" show.

The victor of the 2018 World's Ugliest Dog competition, Zsa Zsa the English bulldog, has died aged 9.

"We were extremely confident, and that's why we took this big trip here".

The dog's owner, Megan Brainard of Minnesota, posted the news to her Facebook page.

England defied expectation and united a fractured nation in reaching this stage, and Southgate must take enormous credit for that. Perisic equalized in the 68th minute, though, and then set up Mandzukic in the 109th minute for the eventual victor .

"I picked Zsa Zsa up and took her outside and laid her down in the grass", the pet owner shared.

On Tuesday, July 10 the World collectively wept for the loss of Zsa Zsa, a dog whose sheer hideousness was only surpassed by her big heart. "It's probably going to be the same with her passing". "We were all saying our goodbyes". "It was sweet. She was waving at her", Brainard shared with TODAY.

After winning the annual contest in California, Zsa Zsa and her entourage flew to NY for an appearance on NBC's "Today Show".

The dog's oversized tongue, pronounced underbite, and bowed stance helped her to claim the "top dog" spot at the Petaluma, California competition. "We take millions of pictures in my family, so now we have her face everywhere to remind us of her", added Brainard.

"She knew she was special", said Brainard.
