18-year-old Renard Matthews was shot and killed two weeks ago in the Florida area of New Orleans. He held a PS4 controller in his hands while a game of NBA2K between the Celtics and Warriors was powered up on the screen. Temeka Matthews also said her son was a big fan of Celtics guard Kyrie Irving. The body of Renard Matthews was prepared for his wake on Sunday dressed in his Boston Celtics merchandise, with a PS4 controller in hand and surrounded by his favorite gaming snacks. It's an unconventional way of honoring someone's death, yet the Matthews family believes it'll help his friends remember him in the best way possible. On the television beside him is what appears to be National Basketball Association 2k18, though we can't confirm this.
