LeBron James looking to change style of play with Lakers?

LeBron James reportedly isn't in a rush to identify another star to play alongside him with the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Lakers signed Rajon Rondo, JaVale McGee and Lance Stephenson to one-year deals while re-signing Kentavious Caldwell-Pope to a one-year, $12 million deal. The Lakers will build around James, and they'll continue to attempt to land Kawhi Leonard or another superstar to team up with him over the next year. "LeBron will never be in the finals again", wrote one commenter.

LeBron James is taking his time getting settled in Los Angeles.

But for those without legions of followers, the celebration was at Staples Center.

"It will be very versatile, and I don't think you'll be able to scout and stick to one game plan as far as being able to stop a certain player", Rondo said.

England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford was notably called into action early in the second half when he saved Marcus Berg's header. For a long time, England fans have struggled to identify with the players pulling on the shirt and representing their nation.

According to Travis, James didn't envision the Cavaliers being capable of making the offseason moves necessary to dethrone the Warriors and win his second title in Cleveland.

"Unlike most free agents changing teams, LeBron is arriving with the Lakers as an all-time great", a source close to James told ESPN.

In the end, few players did well enough to keep James' confidence though. The contrast to when LeBron and Dwyane Wade worked in tandem to convince Chris Bosh and Ray Allen to join them in Miami, or to when LeBron lured Kevin Love from Minnesota to Cleveland, is striking.

"Saw this blasphemy of LeBron's face taped on top of #mambaonmelrose, so I had to do what was right", Perez wrote on Twitter.

However, unlike the team that LeBron joined in Cleveland, there is now no Kyrie Irving on the Lakers. If Magic Johnson doesn't choose to go that route, other options include Tyreke Evans or possibly Jabari Parker. The three-time National Basketball Association champion will nearly surely drag the Lakers to their first post-season since 2013, but his new team remains short of being a realistic challenger for the title. "He's going to make Lonzo better because he's the best player".
