After being announced the victor Cormier called out former UFC heavyweight champion and WWE wrestler Brock Lesnar who entered the octogan and welcomed the challenge.

On Saturday, July 7, the UFC will host UFC 226 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Daniel Cormier made history Saturday night, becoming the fifth UFC fighter to become champion in two different weight-classes with a first-round knockout of Stipe Miocic.

"Every person I fight is bigger than me", Cormier said this week in Las Vegas. So as great as Anderson Silva was, he tested positive I think two times. He's a wrestler. He's an All-American.

It's hard to believe that Michael Chiesa's failed cut to lightweight didn't have some kind of impact on his meeting with former champion, Anthony Pettis. He won the Strikeforce heavyweight title before leaving the division when he joined the UFC because he didn't want to fight Cain Velasquez, his training partner and the former UFC heavyweight champ.

'There's a guy that I've known for a long time, ' said Cormier.

LeBron James looking to change style of play with Lakers?
LeBron James reportedly isn't in a rush to identify another star to play alongside him with the Los Angeles Lakers . If Magic Johnson doesn't choose to go that route, other options include Tyreke Evans or possibly Jabari Parker.

"I should be in the conversation", Cormier said. He then gave Lesnar a slight shove in return. "I walked into this building and watched the heavyweight disasters from the beginning", he said. Miocic is a piece of shit. "DC" is now the proud owner of both the heavyweight and light heavyweight straps, and judging by his post-fight altercation with ex-champ Brock Lesnar, he could already have his next opponent lined up.

It just seems as though the UFC can't catch a break these days.

Where this leaves WWE is anyone's guess, though the company obviously needs to get their Universal Title off of him (which has actually been the case for months given Lesnar's lack of a presence on WWE television).

In order to return to the UFC, Lesnar will have to re-enter USADA's testing pool and serve out the remainder of his suspension.
