Chris Brown arrested in Florida immediately after his concert

It looks like Chris Brown will be spending the night in jail in Florida.

Chris Brown has been arrested and charged with felony battery, according to TMZ.

Law-enforcement authorities arrested Brown on a felony battery warrant from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's office, WPTV said.

Immediately after his arrest a post was published on his Instagram account with the caption: "What's NEW????" He was booked into the Palm Beach County jail at 11 p.m. Thursday and was released less than an hour later after paying a $2,000 bond, jail records show.

The manhunt is ongoing and an interior ministry official told AFP that almost 3,000 French police were recruited for the search. Faid had already escaped prison once before, in 2013, by blasting his way out with explosives that were hidden in tissue packs.

Brown, 29, was arrested on an out-of-county warrant. At the time, the victim, Bennie Vines, told police he was hired to take photos at an event.

The entertainer is in the middle of his Heartbreak On A Full Moon Tour and was scheduled to perform in Tampa Friday night.
