After nearly a week of waiting, Fortnite's Playground limited-time mode has returned to the game. The mode first launched a few days ago, but was taken down soon after due to server problems. Since then, fans have been waiting - not necessarily patiently in all cases, but waiting nonetheless - for its return, and late last night, Epic was finally able to deliver.

Epic Games has released Fortnite patch 4.5 across all platforms which adds new content to the shooter, including Stars and Stripes heroes, the all-new Drum Gun, and more. "Success! We've completed deploying our servers containing the improved matchmaking changes", the update reads.

Throughout the LTM's downtime, Epic posted to Reddit to provide a number of updates on the process of testing matchmaking improvements, so players were kept in the loop.

"Please keep in mind to change your region back to "auto select" and verify you're on your preferred region", the post says.

Walmart Facing Boycott Threats Over 'Impeach 45' Shirt
The "Impeach 45" clothes are no longer on the site, but a large selection of pro-Trump items are still for sale. To be fair, however, Yahoo Lifestyle points out that Walmart has pulled other merchandise on similar grounds.

Timer is Ticking- You only have one hour to play a game in Playground before the match ends.

Playground mode is essentially a practice space for those who aren't yet comfortable taking on Fortnite's true competitive mode. Playground allows team members to shoot each other, potentially allowing for duels between friends or enemies.

All things considered, with many Americans having tomorrow off from work, it's safe to presume a lot of them will be taking a break to catch up on their gaming, with Fortnite being a prime candidate to be played on the holiday.
