On Sunday, crew and guests aboard another cruise ship, the Carnival Glory, saw him in the water and saved him.

On Sunday morning, the Coast Guard said that shortly after 3 p.m.

It happened shortly before 3:30 p.m. Saturday almost 30 miles northwest of Pinar del Rio.

In that instance, watchstanders at Coast Guard 7th District Command Center were on Friday, alerted to a radio beacon alert from the 36-foot sailing vessel Wings, with one mariner aboard.

It's not clear if that was the time the crew member went overboard, or just the time the coast guard was notified. The Norwegian crew member was found on the final day of the cruise. A hotel steward onboard the Carnival Glory spotted the man at approximately 1 p.m. Sunday while he was drifting in the water approximately 21 miles north of Cuba.

The Glory sails from both New Orleans and Miami.

Lakers sign Rajon Rondo because who knows why
The Lakers are the fifth team the 32-year-old Rondo since he was traded from the Celtics to the Dallas Mavericks back in 2014-15. Randle posted career bests with 16.1 points on 55.8% shooting last season while also averaging 8.0 rebounds and 2.6 assists.

The crew member was seen falling overboard from the Norwegian Cruise Line Ship (pictured) on Saturday afternoon.

"Kudos to the Carnival Glory team for this wonderful effort to rescue a fellow seafarer", Duffy said.

"We slowed down, turned the ship around and maneuvered the Carnival Glory near where the person was in the water", said Capt. Pero Grubješić of the Glory.
