Kensington Palace have confirmed that Prince William and Duchess Catherine's eight-week-old son will be christened by The Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, at St James's Palace, London, on July 9.

Prince Louis is following in his new aunt, Meghan Markle's footsteps.

"We'll no doubt have the official christening photos, as we did with Prince George and Princess Charlotte". His godparents will also be announced at the event.

The third child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge was delivered at the private Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in Paddington on St George's Day.

Princess Charlotte's (pictured) Christening took place at St. Mary Magdalene Church, Sandringham. Prince George's christening back in 2013 only had 22 guests, with only senior royals, four members of the Middleton family, the seven godparents and their spouses among the guests.

Democrats say the crisis is of Trump's own making, and accuse him of using children as pawns. And when the children are released, their parents are generally released as well.

Who is performing the christening?

Prince Louis of Cambridge's christening will take place on July 9.

The service will be conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby, who also baptized Meghan and officiated her nuptials to rince-ha.

"Judging by the previous christenings, and the importance of the day for the family, Louis' christening will be a private affair, perhaps no surprise there".

Louis will be wearing the same cream lace and satin gown worn by George and Charlotte. His siblings were each baptized in the same gown design that a whopping 62 of their ancestors also wore, according to Romper. It is a replica of the one made in 1841 for Queen Victoria's eldest daughter that was used until 2004, when it became too delicate to be worn.
