Raccoon scales office tower, captivating public

That obviously didn't work, as raccoons apparently tend to climb when they get scared.

The animal was first seen in a niche in the wall of the Town Square building on Monday.

The raccoon started climbing the UBS skyscraper in Minnesota earlier today and people around the world are now waiting for it to return to earth safely.

As night descended on St. Paul, the raccoon appeared to start climbing down, before reversing course.

Chelsey DeMers, assistant general manager of the company Wildlife Management Services, says the raccoon was caught in a live trap on top of UBS Plaza early Wednesday.
