Prince George and Princess Charlotte Play at Polo Event

In general, they show a fun afternoon in the sun that saw Charlotte and George messing around with toys, but a few images in which Prince George, 4, can be seen playing around with a plastic toy gun are causing controversy.

Princess Charlotte threw a small tantrum at one point but it was still pretty adorable.

But it was Princess Charlotte who really stole the show on the day, putting on a cheeky display for mum Catherine and the family's close friends, during the match.

The future king was seen pretending to shoot the toy as he spent the day with his mother, the Duchess of Cambridge and sister, Princess Charlotte. He and Kate also spent time playing with a rainbow slinky. That said, the duchess and her kids were clearly happy to be mixing with the crowds, with Catherine even climbing to the top of the slide alongside other parents while George had a quick trip down it.

Prince William looked at the two playful children in front of him, seemingly unamused. Crowds assembled outside the palace lawns to watch the Trooping the Colour ceremony which saw several musicians, about a 1,000 soldiers march together and a stunning flypast by the Royal Air Force.

The incident brought back memories of the 2016 Trooping the Colour when William, 36, was scolded by Queen Elizabeth to stand up.

"George was seen climbing into an air ambulance vehicle - his father Prince William was a pilot with the East Anglian service until July previous year".
