There are plenty of awesome women in manga, and since we aren't getting a magical girl version of this (even though we should), it would be nice to get some representation for the female characters that do exist in the franchises. According to Polygon, Bandai Namco has confirmed that Jump Force will be a 3-on-3 tag-team fight, and characters will be able to team up.

The new fighting game shows glimpses of familiar characters from Naruto, One Piece, Death Note and DragonBall Z. Bandai Namco states that it's trying to bring the characters to life with a more realistic design to showcase the fact that game takes place in the real world.

So what do you think of the Jump Force announcement?

The common factor between these manga series is that they were all published in Shonen Jump.

Attorney General Sessions to Release New Asylum Rules
He remanded the case of A-B- back to Judge Stuart Couch in Charlotte, North Carolina, for further proceedings. Fifteen former immigration judges signed a letter calling Sessions' decision "an affront to the rule of law".

And, yes - Monkey D. Luffy did just use Gear Fourth on Super Saiyan Goku there. In the interview, Nakajima noted that the game will contain characters that haven't been in a video game before.

Powered by Unreal Engine 4, Jump Force does look like a pretty impressive game in terms of graphics.

The jury is out on whether or not Jump Force will reveal itself to be more than a trifling bit of fan service, but it's a hell of a way to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Shonen Jump.
