Actor Robert De Niro apologizes to Canada for "idiotic behavior" of Trump

De Niro was much more candid at the Tony Awards on Sunday night, earning a standing ovation for expletives aimed at the US president.

"I agree", Kushner said when asked about the De Niro moment, dropping an F-bomb of his own in relation to the president.

Robert De Niro, an outspoken critic of Donald Trump, had something to very important to say about him at Sunday night's Tony Awards: "F-k Trump'".

Meanwhile in the press room, Tony winners were surprised and amused by De Niro's comments, including Harry Potter and the Cursed Child director John Tiffany, who entered the press room immediately after the incident.
