Guardiola defends himself from 'lying' Yaya

When asked about Toure's comments on Spanish show TV3, Guardiola revealed what he really thought. "We were together two years and now is when he says it".

"It's a lie and he knows it", the Spaniard said when asked about Toure's comments.

The midfielder had to wait until City's final home game of the season against Brighton for his first start of the season.

Touré continued, citing his ethnicity as the prime factor behind Pep's treatment of him during their time together at Barcelona and Manchester City.

As relayed by Fay, Toure's agent, Dimitri Seluk, has backed the allegations made against Guardiola by his client. "He never told me face-to-face".
