The movie takes viewers through the gruelling trials experienced by Armstrong as he prepares to be the first man to step onto the moon in the Apollo 11 mission.

Welcome to #TRAILERCHEST where we're taking a sneak peek at the brand new trailer for First Man.

Based on James R. Hansen's 2005 book First Man: The Life of Neil A. Armstrong, the film chronicles the life of the American astronaut and his journey towards becoming the first man to land on the moon.

"This isn't just another trip, Neil", Foy says in the trailer that debuted Friday during Jimmy Kimmel Live! The first trailer is online.

The film will reportedly focus on Armstrong's life from 1961-1969.

The trailer onslaught continues right up until the end of the weel, closing things out with the first look at Damien Chazelle and Ryan Gosling's reteam after La La Land, the Neil Armstrong biopic First Man. Mowgli, Aviron's Serenity and Annapurna's Where'd You Go, Bernadette?

"Do you think you're coming back?" one boy asks.

Chazelle has assembled an excellent ensemble cast to play the parts of Armstrong's fellow astronauts, including Corey Stoll as Buzz Aldrin, Kyle Chandler as Deke Slayton, Jason Clarke as Ed White, Shea Whigham as Gus Grissom, and Jon Bernthal as David Scott.

So far, the Best Picture race appears to be MAJOR SLIM PICKENS so First Man will be like that first hunk of meat thrown to starving lions.
