During the EA Play press conference at E3 2018, Respawn founder Vince Zampella revealed that the studio is working on a new Star Wars game called Jedi: Fallen Order. Respawn CEO Vince Zampella says it will be "spectacular". Fallen Jedi Order is the next game to be published by Electronic Arts under the exclusive deal with Disney to create licensed console games under the Star Wars brand following the original Battlefront and its very controversial sequel from previous year.

Zampella revealed that players will take on the role of a Jedi during the "dark times", which he went on to clarify is between "Episode III and Episode IV". Unsurprisingly, players will be able to wield lightsabers in the game. But considering that the Clone Wars expansion is confirmed for Battlefront II later this year, that gives the team just enough time to give this game the push it needs.

Beyond that, we have few other details about the game.

LeBron James played NBA Finals with self-inflicted broken hand
James, who can become a free agent at the end of the postseason, could be playing his last game in Cleveland . In the midst of NBA Finals, one of the biggest hip-hop battles in years took place between Drake and Pusha T.

That's a studio you want doing a big-scale, story-heavy Stars Wars game. Timeline wise, it takes place between episodes Star Wars episode 3 and episode 4. EA's acquisition of Respawn was said to be in pursuit of a new Titanfall game, but there haven't been any announcements or leaks about that one yet.

Hopefully, Jedi Fallen Order will be a polished experience when it launches next year.
