Stormy Daniels's former attorney fights back with counterclaims

"Somehow Rudy Giuliani thinks my client isn't entitled to be believed because she was in the adult industry", he said. In an attempt to discredit Daniels' defamation case against the president, Giuliani said women like Daniels don't deserve respect and lack credibility.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Thursday also undermined Giuliani's comments on North Korea ahead of a back-on June 12 Singapore summit between Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

The former New York City mayor was speaking at the "Globes" Capital Market Conference in Israel.

Mrs. Trump, who just Wednesday re-emerged for the first time after weeks out of the spotlight, has not discussed the alleged sexual encounter between Trump and Daniels in public.

Daniels is now embroiled in multiple lawsuits against the president of the United States and his attorney for defamation of character and the legality of a 2016 hush agreement in which she was paid $130,000 to keep quiet about an alleged affair with Donald Trump.

When Davidson responded that Daniels would be unavailable that day but that he was working on making her available to "commit for tomorrow", Cohen replied, "It's really important". Cohen originally said he was not reimbursed.

Liverpool retain interest for in-demand Championship attacker
Liverpool are among the Premier League clubs interested in signing Xherdan Shaqiri following Stoke City's relegation. Leicester City are reportedly set to challenge Liverpool for the Stoke City man's signature.

Cohen and the White House have denied that an affair took place. "Stormy Daniels has no merit whatsoever as to my client, Michael Cohen, and appears to be yet another publicity stunt", he said in an email.

"Stephanie Clifford's current attorney Michael Avenatti has been on a crusade to falsely vilify Davidson while using Clifford's Attorney Client Privilege with Davidson as both a sword and a shield", the lawsuit reads, using Daniels legal name.

"That's demeaning to women, the way I was brought up and the way I always believed the feminist movement has", Giuliani said.

Daniels, meanwhile, is suing Cohen and Trump in California, seeking to void that nondisclosure agreement, and last month filed a motion to revive that lawsuit.

"I have her tentatively scheduled for Hannity tonight", Cohen allegedly texted Davidson Jan. 17, according to the lawsuit.

Davidson also represented former Playmate of the Year Karen McDougal in 2016 when the National Enquirer paid her $150,000 for her story of an alleged affair with Trump 10 years earlier, intending not to publish it - what's known as a "catch and kill" deal.
