Trailer For Netflix Comic Book THE MAGIC ORDER

In the world of comics, Mark Millar is a bit of a daron in the middle.

Netflix's move into the realm of comics may be confusing to some, although its acquisition of Mark Millar for The Magic Order would appear they have something larger at play than a comic book series. These vigilante magicians operate in disguise under the cover of darkness, and the comic begins with them being targeted by a mysterious killer. Since it's coming from Netflix, the comic announcement arrived with its own trailer.

For Millar, the writing visionary behind a multitude of live-action-inspiring comic book works such as Marvel's Civil War, Ultimates and Old Man Logan, along with Kingsman: The Secret Service, Kick-Ass, Empress and Superior, this first Millarworld outing as a Netflix subsidiary had to bring something unique to the new landscape. The images of The Magic Order literally come to life in the trailer, not unlike the motion comics Marvel used to have on the platform years ago. By day they live among us as our neighbors, friends and co-workers, but by night they are the sorcerers, magicians and wizards that protect us from the forces of darkness. I don't know. I guess that's what you get when you combine Netflix with anything else other than movies and television.

Smoking Down, But Tobacco Use Still A Major Cause Of Death, Disease
Dr Tedros Adhanom, WHO chief, yesterday called for more awareness over the links between smoking and heart disease. It focuses on tobacco use as a key risk factor for developing heart and heart related diseases, including stroke.

Millar, while speaking to Entertainment Weekly about The Magic Order, compared the series to The Sopranos and Harry Potter.

According to a report from The Verge, there will be no second printings. Called The Magic Order, the book is a six-part mini-series about five wizard families, and will be published by Image Comics.

"We love the idea of making this genuinely sought after". So after inventory on the first and, only print run is depleted, there will be no additional printings.
