Fortnite's new update brings the spirit of 2000 with shopping cart chaos

If you have been anywhere near the Internet over the past few weeks then you will undoubtedly have come across either PUBG or Fortnite, the two battle royale games that have taken the gaming world by storm.

Bluehole, PUBG Corp's parent organization, has since clarified that this matter isn't simply related to Fortnite and PUBG belonging to the same genre of game but instead has to do with the working relationship between PUBG Corp and Epic.

The shopping cart, for those that don't know, operates by one player pushing and the other riding, although the cart can be operated by one player if need be.

Epic Games announced Fortnite Battle Royale would be receiving its first vehicle soon.

Following the release of the V.4.3.0 patch in Fortnite: Battle Royale on Wednesday, May 30th, multiple users on console reported that the game was not correctly counting and documenting any wins that may have been obtained. You can push and jump in the cart solo or with a friend. As of now there is no means of fast travel aside jetpacks and hop rocks, which allow players to traverse the map in creative ways. One goes all in for realism, while other is cartoonish and otherworldly.

That's not all, the latest update also adds a new restorative item in the form of mushrooms. They're found near swamp and wooded areas.

The new Fornite patch will also drop a new hero to the game.

It has filed an injunction against Epic Games in a South Korean court, but it is not clear yet if it is hoping to have Fortnite shut down.

PUBG has managed to sell more than 40 million copies so far but Fortnite is not far behind.
