YouTube TV gains "voice remote" on Android devices

Incognito mode doesn't really offer a whole lot when it comes to hiding your activity from three lettered agencies and is kind of pointless on a non-shared device.

We're not sure when the feature will roll out to the public.

AndroidPolice reports that there will be a slight change in the interface for the YouTube app, with the "Sign Out" and "Switch Account" options combined into a single link.

Search giant Google has started rolling out a new feature for users who use YouTube TV on their Android devices. But now it looks like YouTube will make a little easier to go into incognito without digging into many settings and without having to disable it later.

Unfortunately, while desktop users can simply toggle their browser's incognito mode to obfuscate their browsing activity across the internet, mobile users often rely on dedicated apps to view their favorite websites. This could turn out to be a chore if you don't want others to find out what you have been watching on YouTube - for the sake of privacy or for some other reasons. Besides, your profile avatar will also be replaced with the Incognito icon. That's where the "Turn on Incognito" mode will be located, at least based on a screenshot shared by AP. It is unclear as to how it is activated, but there is a good chance it is enabled server-side so if you don't see it yet, it's because you weren't selected to be part of the test.

The YouTube Kids app contains a timer function which lets you physically limit the amount of content they're allowed to watch before finally locking them out.
