It's the third variant to join Affalterbach's drop-top sports vehicle lineup, and it sits between the current GT and GT C in terms of performance and price.

With 384kW and 670Nm, it sits between the 350kW/630Nm of the GT Roadster, and the 410kW/680Nm of the GT C Roadster, as does its 0-100km/h sprint of 3.8 seconds and its top speed of 308km/h.

For those of you keeping score at home, Daimler and Mercedes-Benz have just announced the availability later this year of the Mercedes AMG GT S roadster. The GT S features an electrically-controlled limited slip differential and adaptive damping - neither of which are fitted to the standard GT Roadster - while the wheels measure 19 inches at the front and 20 inches at the rear. The AMG GT S Roadster brings the grand total of AMG GTs up to 12: four two-door Coupés, three Roadsters, two customer sports racing cars and three four-door Coupés. Top speed for the GT is 188 miles per hour while the GT S is rated at 192 mph and the GT C at 196 mph. Additional roll-over protection is provided by an integrated aluminum cross-member, while the inserted acoustic mat improves noise comfort. Either way, the GT S Roadster has plenty of get up and go. In the rear, there are 14.2-inch brake discs and single-piston fixed calipers.

West Ham eyeing options to replace manager David Moyes
Both Allardyce and Moyes, though, will want to go out on a high as they bid to either keep their jobs or secure their next move. United have also only failed to score in one of their last 15 Premier League visits to West Ham , losing 1-0 in December 2006.

And there's plenty of luxury, too.

Inside, the GT S features sports seats trimmed in Artico faux leather and Dinamica microfibre as standard, with nappa leather optionally available, along with silver chrome interior highlights and Airscarf neck-level heating. The company also offers an AMG carbon-fibre package and an AMG Night package as a few optional packages for the exterior. In addition, it allows the engine to be installed lower, moving the center of gravity closer to the road for high lateral acceleration.
