While the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby will officiate Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's vows, and the Dean of Windsor, the Right Reverend David Conner, will conduct the service, American bishop Michael Bruce Curry will give the address at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding.

The wording differs from the instrument signed to give consent to the marriage of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, when the bride was described as "our trusty and well-beloved Catherine" in a phrase reserved for United Kingdom citizens and the Queen's realms.

Buckingham Palace released the first image of the document which states the Queen has formally given her consent that the couple Wednesday following a meeting of the Privy Council on March 14.

Under British law, the first six people in line of succession to the throne must obtain the queen's permission.

In the document the Queen referred to Harry as her "dearly beloved" grandson. "If not, Meghan will simply be styled as 'HRH Princess Henry of Wales". This is a heraldic symbol of Wales combining the floral emblems of the UK. When Harry was engaged, he was fifth in line, but has since been bumped to sixth with the birth of Prince Louis last month.

We knew Prince Harry and Meghan Markle weren't going to have a stick-up-the-butt style conservative affair for their impending nuptials.

The Queen's signature is on the top right corner of the document and it is sealed with the red Great Seal of the Realm.
