Pair of quakes strike in Southern California

A preliminary magnitude-4.5 natural disaster hit just east of Los Angeles Tuesday, sending shockwaves across southern California.

No immediate damage was reported in Cabazon according to ABC 10.

The biggest temblor - a 4.5 magnitude shaker - struck at 4:49 a depth of eight miles. At least 27 aftershocks followed, the largest of which was a 3.2, the USGS said.

No damage or injuries were reported, but the shaking was felt in Los Angeles, almost 100 miles west of the epicenter.

The club released a statement saying: "Sir Alex Ferguson has undergone emergency surgery today for a brain haemorrhage. He said: "Every brain injury is unique, as is every individual's recovery".

Residents reported their homes shaking, and being woken from their sleep. "Historically, the area around Mt. San Gorgonio is the only part of southern San Andreas fault that produces smaller quakes", Jones said on Twitter.

Others thought the earth tremors must have been closer to their location based on their strength. A woman in Pico Rivera in southeast L.A. County tweeted: "Wow the natural disaster was all the way in Banning, I thought it was here".
