Goedert Goes the Eagles

After some fans understandably question selecting a 5-foot-9 cornerback in the fourth round with other, seemingly more pressing needs like safety, offensive line and wide receiver still on the board, Howie Roseman stuck true to his "best player available" mantra, and now looks like a genius following the Dallas Cowboys' recent trade for 5-foot-8 speedster Tavon Austin. That said, Goedert is confident he can make a relatively seamless transition to the NFL. "And then any time you're in the red zone using your body like you're boxing out, go up and catch a fade ball like high-pointing a rebound". Current Eagle, Zach Ertz was a common comparison of his. Goedert was McShay's top tight end prospect.

Per ESPN's Todd Archer, the Cowboys didn't have their sights set on Goedert. "And I said, 'Man, that'd be the most incredible thing ever'". Goedert is adept at finding the soft spot in zone coverage, and his size makes him tough to tackle for defensive backs.

"He's elusive, runs good routes, has great running ability, route skills".

"World champs!" Akers said referencing the Eagles.

In his college playing career, Carson Wentz's biggest rival was South Dakota State. Besides their Dakota ties (Wentz, a North Dakota State product, faced off against Goedert at the collegiate level), they also share the same agent. Coach and his staff are really excited about the way we can utilize him. The Eagles parted with Burton, the thrower of the "Philly Special", and Brent Celek this offseason, creating a void at tight end that Goedert helps to fill. The receiving total led all Division I tight ends in both the FBS and FCS divisions in 2017.

Madonna loses bid to keep Tupac's break-up letter from being auctioned off
Last July Madonna filed a request for a temporary restraining against the auction house, seeking to remove 20 items from sale. The judge's view was that if Madonna didn't want the Tupac letter to be sold, she should've never signed the release.

"He's going to add some depth and competition to the position obviously", Pederson said. We'll begin slow. He's a smart kid.

The Eagles apparently don't have to worry about Goedert's work ethic.

I don't even know who the Eagles drafted (it was TE Dallas Goedert), this promo blew everything out of the water.

It could be only a matter of time before he contributes.

"I think Philadelphia might have thought that as well", he said.
